Krimskrams Butikken

Krimskrams butikken is a radio show (in german) featuring all kinds of music from my archive. Each show has a theme, e.g., music from a specific year, a specific genre, or any other criterion. This means that every show is a little surprise with something new to discover. Krimskrams butikken airs live every two weeks from 8 to 10 p.m. on:

In addition, over a dozen stations broadcast the program as a recording at other times. Playlists are being posted on facebook, Instragram and Tiktok on a regular basis.

Where did the name come from?
Some years ago I was in a shopping-mall in Pula (Croatia). The girls went shopping and my son and I visited some shops at random. Then we were in a shop where you can get nearly everything from toys to plates to souvenirs and clothes. Suddenly there was this big guy with his son, standing next to me. He obviously phoned his wife and said "Vi er i krimskramsbutikken..." (seems to be norwegian). A perfect name for that shop and also for my radio show.
